Please join Josh Duffee on Thursday, August 6th, as he takes time to remember Leon Bismark Beiderbecke on the day he passed away.

He will have a small set-up on the porch at Bix's Home (1934 Grand Ave, Davenport, IA) where he will be playing records from his personal collection of the bands that Bix recorded with, as well as records of songs and bands that Bix listened to growing up.

This event will be taking place outside on Bix's porch, so if you're in the area and passing by and want to hear some music, roll down your window and hear the beautiful music floating through the air.

There will be people all over the world thinking about Bix on August 6th, and we hope this event will make them feel like they're on Bix's lawn in person. Josh will just be playing music that evening, while responding to comments during the Live event.

All tip money from this event will be split between the Bix Beiderbecke Memorial Society and The Bix Beiderbecke Museum and Archives here in Davenport. Next year we will be celebrating the 90th Anniversary of Bix's passing at the 50th Anniversary of The Bix Beiderbecke Memorial Jazz Festival in Davenport (hopefully!)
